एमआयटी महाविद्यालयातील तालीमला दिलेल्या भेटीदरम्यान एमआयटी समूह संस्थांचे संस्थापक व अध्यक्ष डॉ. विश्वनाथ कराड यांच्याशी संवाद साधण्याची संधी लाभली. हा प्रसंग भारतीय पारंपरिक क्रीडांना प्रोत्साहन देणे, कुस्तीचा समृद्ध वारसा जतन करणे आणि भावी पिढीतील कुस्तीपटूंना प्रेरणा व प्रोत्साहन देणे या समान ध्येयाप्रती असलेली बांधिलकी अधोरेखित करणारा ठरला.

जामखेड तालुक्यात कुस्ती आणि कबड्डी या पारंपरिक क्रीडांच्या विकास व प्रोत्साहनासाठी एक महत्त्वपूर्ण बैठक आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. या बैठकीस तत्कालीन आमदार मा. रोहित पवार तसेच इतर मान्यवर उपस्थित होते. खेळाडूंना अधिक संधी उपलब्ध करून देणे, पारंपरिक क्रीडांना बळकटी देणे आणि त्यांच्या सर्वांगीण विकासासाठी आवश्यक उपाययोजनांवर यावेळी सविस्तर चर्चा करण्यात आली.
